Lean Product Design

The wise men have always said that when you are designing for new  product, make one such that it addresses the least common denominator1388655923_204 i.e it takes care of only one use case scenario which will be applicable to your target audience and see how it get accepted with your target audience.

But for an entrepreneur its not a very simple task not to look at other use cases to be bundled in. It happens with everybody even the best of the best, and although your mind would agree as an entrepreneur you heart does not.

And that’s exactly where  I would like to contribute my 2 cents.

  •     We have to make it clear, like it or not, resist it how much ever you want you have to launch with the best use cases that you have thought for the user.
  •     Your product could have multiple benefits for the user however you have to select the one that you think will excite him the most.
  •     Now excitement could be the result of the overall design experience and finally the value that the use sees when he finally interacts and touches and feels the product.
  •     So you will have to start creating detailed wireframe and screens for each of the use cases that you had shortlisted before
  •     Once you have the visual feel and you see the benefit of each of the use case that you have only then select the use case you want and start developing for it

I have only restricted myself to indicating how to solve the dilemma about what features you need to have in your first cut product.
